What to Expect

We know that an unexpected visit to a veterinary clinic can be a stressful time, and it is our goal to provide you and your pet with compassion and professional care during your visit, keeping you informed every step of the way. Our Urgent Care works on a triage basis which means that we see patients in the order of greatest medical need first and then in the order of arrival.

When you arrive, our client care team will check you in and inform you if there is a wait time. It is always our goal to have your pet evaluated as soon as possible but due to the unpredictable nature of emergency medicine waits can occur and wait times can be unpredictable and fluctuate wildly. We thank you in advance for your patience.

A veterinary assistant will escort you and your pet to an examination room to obtain your pet’s history and vitals. Your veterinarian will perform a thorough examination and  will provide you with their proposed treatment plan for any treatments or diagnostics they recommend.

If your pet arrives in critical condition our team will swiftly move into action to stabilize them and keep you informed of their condition and provide you with an estimate for emergency stabilization.
