I was born in Texas, but was raised in our capital city, Columbia, and consider South Carolina my home. I attended Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and received my Bachelor’s of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Clemson was a great beginning for my journey in veterinary education! My passion for animals continued to blossom in veterinary school. After graduating from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020, I started my career as a mixed animal veterinarian, working at a hospital in Texas. I moved back home to South Carolina in 2021 to further my career in small animal medicine and be closer to my family. My favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are preventative medicine, surgery, urgent care, and improving the lives of people and families by caring for their furry friends. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy going on adventures with my goofy retriever mix, Riggs, and cheering on The Tigers, especially during football season! My ultimate goal is to continue practicing small animal medicine and to build my own hobby farm locally so that I can have a few goats and farm critters of my own.
